Provides a career path for learners developing a broad base of IT knowledge and skills for roles such as programming, website design or PC maintenance โ skills recognised internationally. Accredited at Level 4, 120 credits.
Units:
Core: Information Technology and IT Ethics; Mathematics and Statistics for IT; PC Maintenance and Operating Systems; Computer Graphics Editing and Database Concepts.
Elective: Logical IT Networking; Physical IT Networking; Web Programming; Graphical User Interface (GUI); Programming Concepts and Java for Android Programming.

Eligibility & entry requirements
Learners are typically aged 18+ and hold at least one of: a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent; GCE A-levels in 3 subjects or equivalent; or are mature learners (21+) with relevant work experience. Non-native English speakers require IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent).
