Equivalent to the 2nd year of a bachelor's degree, for individuals seeking a bachelor's degree pathway in networking and cyber security.
Learning outcomes
On completion, learners will be able to:
โข Design and secure enterprise network infrastructures.
โข Apply advanced routing, switching and wireless networking concepts.
โข Implement cyber security controls, monitoring and incident response.
โข Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration-testing fundamentals.
โข Evaluate governance, risk and compliance in networked environments.
Eligibility & entry requirements
Open to learners aged 18+ who hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. GCE A/L) or equivalent. Mature learners (21+) with relevant work experience are also considered. Non-native English speakers should evidence English language competency (e.g. IELTS 6.0 or equivalent). Progression into the Level 5 units requires successful completion of Level 4 or an equivalent Level 4 qualification.
