Equivalent to the 2nd year of a bachelor's degree, for individuals seeking a bachelor's degree pathway in networking.
On completion, learners will be able to:
β’ Configure, manage and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
β’ Apply networking protocols, routing and switching concepts in practice.
β’ Design secure, scalable network infrastructures.
β’ Implement network monitoring, performance and fault-management practices.
β’ Evaluate emerging networking technologies and their business application.
Open to learners aged 18+ who hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. GCE A/L) or equivalent. Mature learners (21+) with relevant work experience are also considered. Non-native English speakers should evidence English language competency (e.g. IELTS 6.0 or equivalent). Progression into the Level 5 units requires successful completion of Level 4 or an equivalent Level 4 qualification.
