Provides a career path for learners developing a broad base of IT knowledge with a networking focus β skills recognised internationally. Accredited at Level 4, 120 credits.
Units:
Core: Information Technology and IT Ethics; Mathematics and Statistics for IT; PC Maintenance and Operating Systems; Computer Graphics Editing and Database Concepts.
Elective: Logical IT Networking; Physical IT Networking.
On completion (official Qualifi learning outcomes), learners will be able to:
1. Understand and apply the principles of IT in a range of business environments.
2. Understand and apply the principles in a specific environment.
3. Explore the relationship between management theories and their practical application in IT.
4. Analyse problem-solving techniques specific to business and industry.
5. Select, collate, review and analyse information from a wide range of sources.
